Generosity Ministry

The mission of the Generosity Ministry is to encourage personal and congregational growth in giving both time and finances to ensure adequate resources are available to accomplish the mission of our church. The committee develops and recommends to the Executive Committee a comprehensive plan with mutual funds, CDs, Money Markets, and other investment vehicles to ensure responsible financial returns. It establishes endowment education to encourage members to plan for giving via various growth funds including insurance policies, wills, and trust funds. It recruits and identifies volunteers for ministries and projects. It educates on giving and tithing via workshops and the annual pledge program. It will coordinate and establish fund raising strategies and ideas to raise monies for ministries. The committee tracks gifts to the church for tax purposes and coordinates the counters and the distribution of statements. The ministry also reviews all fundraising requests.
