February Thursday Evening Study Opportunities.
Feb. 1 at 7:00pm our topic will be the Apostle Paul. The majority
of the New Testament is written by Paul, but what do we really know
about him? This one session study will focus on a geographical
understanding of Paul’s mission work, and on the core of his message.
We will watch a DVD "The Life of Apostle Paul" and discuss its
implications for our lives.
Feb. 15 at 7:00pm our topic will be on gaining a better perspective
on prayer. We will discuss topics such as "what is prayer," "why do we
pray," "how do we pray," "when do we pray," and ‘does God answer
prayers." We will use a study guide called "Meeting God in Prayer."
I think everyone who attends will be blessed with a deeper
understanding of St. Paul and of the reality of prayer. May you
prioritize these two study opportunities, so that your faith may
increase and grow!
